“O” Level


O (Foundation course in Computer Application) Level Course, as well as other equivalent courses, are organized by NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology) which is recognized by the Government of India and it was earlier known as DOEACC (Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Classes).


Eligibility Criteria for "O"Level

Candidate should have completed their Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination from a recognized Board or should have completed ITI (1 Year after Class 10th).

Intake: 20 seats for each session.

Certificate Awarding Body: NIELIT (formerly DOEACC Society).

Advantage of O-Level Course

It is very important to have a computer certificate if a candidate is looking for a government job. O level certificate and CCC certificates are generally required for the posts available in Government Offices, Ministry and other departments. If a candidate possesses a computer certificate then it means he/ she is capable of performing basic computer operations which are generally required.


About O Level Course Content

There is a total of 4 subjects in O Level Course and separate examination is conducted. The candidate gets Project Work and they also have to appear in Practical and Viva Voice exams which are based on these 4 subjects. M1-R4, M2-R4, and M3-R4 are compulsory subjects in O Level Course. For M4-R4, a candidate has to pick any one subject out of these three subjects. Candidate can select any one subject as per his personal preferences. FYI, M4 2-R4 and M4 3-R4 are easy subjects when compared to others.

PR Practical (Based on M1, M2, M3, M4)


For the practical session of the course, practical assignments have been worked out for each theory module the students have to devote half of the total time allotted to each module. The Practical examination will be based on M1-R4, M2-R4, M3-R4 and M4-R4 modules of 'o' Level course.
